A misty morning at Cass Railway Station in Canterbury, photographed by Stewart Nimmo.
There’s something about the little red station appearing through all that mist that makes this image. Quiet tracks disappearing into the distance, barely-there hills and just that tiny hit of red amongst an otherwise muted landscape.
Simple, atmospheric and a little bit mysterious.
From Stewart Nimmo’s 12-12-12 Collection, released on his birthday, 12 December 2012. Stew planned 12 new landscape photographs for 12-12-12, but couldn’t quite stop there, so the final collection became a baker’s dozen of 13.
