Sometimes being in the right place at the right time really does pay off.
Stew had been on the Rakiura track (one of NZ's great walks) with a group of friends on Stewart Island in March 2015. They'd just wrapped up an Irish-themed quiz for St Patrick's Day when they stepped outside Port William Hut and were greeted by this display of the Aurora Australis. Luckily the camera wasn't far away.
