A kea in full flight at Arthur’s Pass, its wings spread to reveal the beautiful flashes of orange and red hidden beneath its feathers.
New Zealand’s native alpine parrot is full of character, but seeing one in flight is something else entirely. Against the darker mountain backdrop, the detail and colour through the wings really stand out.
